TuiNa with Fire Dry Cupping

“Tui Na” is a traditional Chinese medical massage guided by Chinese Medicine theory.

Service Description

“Tui Na” is a traditional Chinese medical massage guided by Chinese Medicine theory. In terms of the underlying philosophy and principles there is no essential difference between “Tui Na” and acupuncture, but in terms of treatment approaches, “Tui Na” obviously is noninvasive. It is one of the four main branches of traditional Chinese medicine, along with acupuncture, cupping, and Chinese herbal medicine. “Tui Na” uses techniques and manipulations to stimulate acupuncture points or other parts of the body surface so as to correct physiological imbalance of the body and achieve curative effects. For soft tissue injuries, “Tui Na” relaxes muscles and tendons and promotes smooth passage of the channels. It also promotes blood circulation and removes blood stasis. It is both relaxing and therapeutic. “Tui Na” massage sessions usually last been ten to twenty minutes, and normally take place on a massage table. “Tui Na” is intended to be both relaxing and invigorating. It is often used in concert with other Chinese therapies including acupuncture, Chinese herbal remedies and fire cupping.
